About Us

The Sports and Physical Therapy Center opened its doors in 2004 by an eager owner, Sean Quinn. The business began with a Sean running the entire office; answering phones, handling billing, and treating patients. Solely by his dedication and passion for his newfound center, Sean experienced rapid growth allowing him to hire a team. The Sports and Physical Therapy Center continues to grow and succeed by providing the St.Louis, Missouri area with exceptional quality care and results.

Sean Quinn,Owner, Physical Therapist
In 2001 he graduated from St. Louis University with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Since then, he has practiced in an outpatient setting, giving him a lot of experience in his trade. By incorporating his expertise of manual therapy techniques, orthopedics, and sports medicine, he helps patients achieve their full potential. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Contact Sean Quinn

Angie Burkhead, Billing Manager
She began her journey with us in February of 2005. She earned diplomas in clerical accounting as well as medical coding and billing. Angie is willing to help you with all aspects of the billing and collections process. Contact Angie Burkhead

Sonja McFarlane, Front Desk Coordinator
She is the key to making our office run smoothly. From scheduling, verifying insurance, answering questions, and any other task that arises, Sonja keeps it all together. Contact Sonja McFarlane

Amanda Linneman, Patient Representative and Establishment Officer
As the Patient Representative, Amanda's job is to ensure the happiness and complete satisfaction of our patients during their treatment at our office. As the Establishment Officer she ensures that the facility's different departments are all on the same page and operating smoothly. Contact Amanda Linneman

Art McAlister, Physical Therapist
In 2009 Art graduated from Maryville University with a Masters Degree. In 2010 he joined the staff at The Sports and Physical Therapy Center. He has a passion for working with children after working with a diverse pediatric population around the St. Louis area. He uses yoga, strength-training, dynamic balance training, and manual therapy. Jennifer Steffee, Physical Therapist
In 2005 she graduated from The University of Findlay with a B.S. and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2007. She has worked for The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in the outpatient musculoskeletal department helping patients with orthopedic injuries and pain management. She’s an active advocate for Multiple Sclerosis legislature and research. She has been a team captain for Team Green Machine for the Gateway Getaway Multiple Sclerosis 150 mile bike ride over the past 3 years and led her team to "Rookie Team of the Year" in 2009 fundraising over $14,000. Hailey Coffindaffer, Physical Therapist
Hailey graduated from Kansas State University with a B. S. in Kinesiology and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  She was a collegiate golfer for K-State for four years and is currently a proud supporter of all K-State athletics.  She is very passionate about helping people. Shannon Quinn, Public Relations
Shannon graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and Webster University with a Master's in Art of Teaching in Early Childhood.  She has practiced as a school based Occupational Therapist since 2000.  At the Sports and Physical Therapy Center Shannon is in charge of public relations.  It is her job to ensure that doctors and those within our community are aware of the wonderful services the Sports and Physical Therapy Center has to offer people.  When not working Shannon is busy with her husband and three boys! Kim Ridenhour, Front Desk Coordinator and PT Tech
Kim's daily duties include scheduling patients, answering questions, and assisting the therapists when needed to make sure all the patients get the best possible care. Kim has been a resident of Eureka for many years and we are happy to have her on our team. Contact Kim Ridenhour

Brian Joggerst, Personal Trainer
He trains past patients, current patients, or anyone who has fitness goals. "To affect positive change to everyone I meet." These are the words he lives by This means that I strive to make my clients healthier and happier than they were before meeting me. His qualifications include National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist, and National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement  Specialist.
